Designing our new pocket park

The top end of Priory Park Road is officially closed to traffic, and on Monday, our families and local residents gathered to share ideas for a brand-new pocket park open to all.

The event was hosted outside our school by Camden, Brent, and Westminster councils, alongside architects and volunteers. With the cars gone, our children safely took over, playing hopscotch, enthusiastically sharing their own ideas for play areas. Which gave us a glimpse into the future of the street. While parents shared thoughts on what would accommodate their needs during pick ups and drop offs including much-needed greenery and safe seating.

The feedback gathered will inspire the final blueprints, making this a park built by and for our community.
